Voices Of The World Task 2
After the success of task 1, Voices Of The World's October task is now on-line for the 32 members from around the world to complete. This month introduces the tool Animoto as it incorporates audio and images. Each school is now asked to sing 30 seconds of their National Anthem in any format/style they want - this is where you see the creative teachers come forward. Using the National Anthems as the themes is another method of breaking down language barriers as the music and sound becomes the focus not the interpretation of the language.
The final product will consist of all animitos created by each school being showcased on the Voices Of The World wikispace, however, depending on the amount of entries (the VOTW network is growing daily) it might be a case that a selction of audios from the various animitos will be extracted to create a podcast as I do not want the podcasts to last more than 15 minutes.
Below is an example of what the end product might look like but with children singing!!!

Great task .... (the pupils just loved task 1n - what will they make of this one, I wonder?)
I aim to please and genrate a little fun into teaching. I hope they enjoy the next one and even more listening to all the wonderful sounds we make.
I'm sure they'll love task 2 !
